@malteengeler Hopefully this means we won't see any more foss apps getting taken down because they link to the project homepage, which links to their Patreon.

@jay @malteengeler I hope it goes further than that. An in-app button for subscribing (?) to someone’s Patreon or something similar would be great.

@malteengeler Interesting. I’m disappointed that the judged defined the market as digital mobile gaming but at least apple can’t control other companys’ messaging and communication anymore. Baby steps.

@malteengeler so you can link, but you can't include the payment tooling in the app.... Wonder how you are going to check if the user paid in the app...

@malteengeler in this case: why would I as a dev use in-app purchases when I can now include my payments directly without having Apple as the “middle-man”? 😬
